Bluff Beach Jungle Spa offers two distinct treatment settings. Our signature treatments and all specialty massages are performed in our open-air cabana tucked inside the rainforest just steps from Playa Bluff. You'll be fully surrounded by the living sounds of the jungle—tropical birds, howler monkeys, frogs, and rainforest wildlife—with the soothing rhythm of the waves drifting in from the nearby beach. If you're lucky, a sloth may even pass through the canopy above you. For guests seeking a simpler, traditional experience, we also offer a comfortable indoor treatment room at our Bluff Beach Boutique and Market.

Bluff Beach Signature Jungle Massage Experience

Our most luxurious and immersive wellness offering.

Nestled in our open-air cabana set within the rainforest just a short walk from Playa Bluff, this experience combines the healing power of massage with the natural beauty of the jungle. You'll be fully immersed in the living symphony of rainforest life—tropical birds calling overhead, howler monkeys in the distance, frogs, cicadas, and the gentle ocean breeze carrying the soothing sound of waves from the nearby shore. Your journey begins with a refreshing welcome drink of fresh coconut water, followed by a warm hibiscus and ginger foot soak, then a nourishing moisturizing glove treatment with Manuka honey for both the hands and feet, finished with a soothing lutein steam eye mask. All facials and specialty treatments are performed in this signature jungle spa setting, creating a truly unforgettable experience of relaxation, renewal, and connection with nature.

This treatment combines therapeutic essential oils, gentle massage, warm towels, and soothing sound healing with bell, flute, singing bowl, and didgeridoo vibrations.

Essential oils used in this session:

Thyme — supports the immune system and helps relieve muscle aches.

A Bamboo Lymphatic massage incorporates the use of dry brushing and bamboo stalks of different sizes used to promote circulation which helps remove waste and toxins from the lymphatic system. This Bamboo Lymphatic massage will leave you feeling refreshed and renewed. (Please drink plenty of water after treatment to flush your system)

Hot Stone Massage

This deep tissue massage uses a variety of hot stones incorporated to apply sustained pressure with slow deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. The heat of the stones help break up stress knots and relieve muscle tension. This massage will melt you into relaxation. (Stones may also be used with the relaxing massages)

Thai Massage

Experience advanced wellness and beauty treatments with the innovative Weyergans SPM (Sequential Pneumatic Massage) technology. This gentle and highly effective therapy uses rhythmic air pressure waves to stimulate the lymphatic system, support circulation, and encourage the body’s natural detoxification processes.

Note: Because the SPM equipment cannot be exposed to open air, these treatments are performed in our tranquil indoor Spa rooms.
