A spa tucked inside a Panamanian nature reserve.

Bluff Beach Jungle Spa sits where the rainforest meets the sea — inside a protected nature reserve on Isla Colón's most beautiful beach. Howler monkeys, sloths, toucans, tropical birds, frogs and butterflies are our daily neighbors, and during your visit you may spot a few of them passing through the canopy or along the jungle road that winds out to us.

We're more than a spa. We're a full-day jungle experience. Come for a massage or facial, and then stay to enjoy everything Bluff Beach has to offer.

Taxi Rides are $15 each way — so stay all day.

A taxi from Bocas Town out to Bluff Beach is $15 each way, so we encourage guests to make the trip a proper day-long excursion. Book your treatment, then relax and enjoy the rest of the property:

  • Bom Bom Beach Bar — lunch, fresh fruit cocktails, cold drinks and the best pizza on the island, served just steps from the sand.
  • Playa Bluff — walk Isla Colón's most beautiful beach: wild, uncrowded and lined with palms.
  • Jungle road wildlife walk — take a slow stroll along the jungle road for the chance to spot sloths, monkeys, toucans, frogs and butterflies in the trees around you.
  • Bluff Beach Boutique & Market — browse local art, handcrafted candles, kimonos, organic chocolate, sarongs and tropical goods to take a piece of the jungle home.
  • Pool & yoga deck — unwind before or after your treatment in the resort pool or on the open-air yoga and meditation deck. $20 resort pass.

In our private open-air cabana, you may choose from a menu of signature massages, custom facials, raindrop therapy, sound healing or our one-day dream yoga retreat. Each massage is its own intriguing experience — nothing like a typical spa treatment. Every recipe is unique, every technique distinct, and no two sessions feel the same. From the rich, warm aroma of our hot chocolate massage to the deep release of bamboo lymphatic work or the grounding vibrations of sound healing, every offering is designed to surprise, soothe and stay with you long after you leave the table.

Your experience is enhanced by the exotic aromas of locally-sourced natural oils and ingredients — coconut, cacao, honey, papaya, aloe, hibiscus and more — sourced straight from the jungle around you. A brief consultation creates a customized recipe blended just for you.

Resort access & on-site amenities

Non-hotel spa guests are welcome to enjoy the resort pool, meditation deck and yoga deck for a $20 per person resort fee. Please inquire with our staff regarding any pool access restrictions that may apply.

The Bom Bom Beach Bar is open to all visitors — come for lunch, cold drinks and what may be the best pizza on the island, served right next to the sand.
